Howard Beggs
Founder and Chair
Howard Beggs is an entrepreneur, investor, professional director and Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Clanwilliam. With a background in technology, Beggs founded our original company, Medicom, in 1996 and has led the company for over 25 years to become a global healthcare group.
Stuart van Rooyen
Stuart van Rooyen is Managing Director of Clanwilliam UK, with overall responsibility for the business' strategic direction and execution. Stuart has worked in healthcare technology for nearly two decades and brings a wealth of experience and insight in acute care, integration, change management and systems project delivery. Beginning at Bluespier within the projects and implementations team, Stuart's career grew into operations management. Bluespier joined Clanwilliam in 2016, was appointed Managing Director of Bluespier in 2017, and became Managing Director of Clanwilliam UK in 2023. Stuart lives in Milton Keynes with his family. In his spare time you'll find him exercising in the gym or playing a bit of cricket for his local team.
